These are the two promos I directed for La Casa Azul, playing as two parts of the same story.
The pleasure of working with the ethereal Guille Milkyway and Alix Bénézech (Mission: Impossible - Fallout)
almost made up for the frustrations stemming from extremely limited budget and production time
(for LFU, Guille arrived on set in Paris at 10am, and left back to Spain at 5pm the same day)…
and of course that helmet, reflecting everything (including the camera) across 180° ahead,
and sucking half of post time just to replace the unwanted (and curved) reflections…
One (way too kind) Spanish reviewer labeled La Fiesta Universal as an "Orgasmo audiovisual".
I don't speak much Spanish, but I think I got that one.
